The Earth has been threatened by the Scourge and The Kindred helps Earth by defending it. They still guard it and keeps it safe, but it has a price. The Kindred gets to choose a bride amongst the single females on Earth.

Enter Olivia Waterhouse. She has no idea that a kindred has chosen her to be his bride, so when she is pick up at her home and carted to the Kindred station for transport to the Kindred ship, she fights with tooth and nail. Kat, her best friend and her sister, Sophia helps her not falling for the Beast Kindred, Baird. She fights him hard at every turn.  but lets see if she can hold out when the weeks begin, each one having a different thing, he can do to her.

I got to say, Alien Romance was not my thing, but this shit is so well written, you can´t help but fall a little in love with the story. I loved everything about it. I want my own Kindred. The next book is Olivia´s sister, Sophia´s story. I have read that there are different Kindred so I´m looking forward to meeting the next one.
