So…. Neil is back home, because his mother is sick and can´t deal with that and her bakery. He left 10 years ago and left not only his family but his first love. Elaina is all grown up now. She works as the towns manager and when Neil and her meet after 10 years, she still holds him in low regards. he has taken over his mothers bakery, which Elaina is trying to shut down, because of their bad blood. She wants to keep the town as it is, but the mill is for sale and a corporation is trying to buy it, she tries to come up with the money to buy it. Neil´s friends have the solution for her and when Neil´s mother needs another surgery, he hear the proposal too. Enter the Bake it or Break it- contest and win a million dollars. Now they just need to win. But Neil fights for more then the money.

A good read. but not really my style. I wasn´t a fan. Even if I wanted to read the next book, I won´t. Just not my style.
