Book one:
Shane and Lily. High school friends. they are in love with each other, but never act on the feelings. Shane joins the army, become black ops and is faking his own death. Lily can´t move on, feeling a big piece of her self missing. Every year on the day of his funeral she visit his grave to talk to him and tell him what is happing in her life. One day she is threatened by a madman and Shane has to come out of hiding to help her. A little predictive but overall an ok read. I will be rating all the books at once.
Book Two:
Jasper and Emily. Meet cute at Shane and Lily’s poker night. Jasper is taken by Emily, but bolts after learning that she has a kid. Then she is involved in a robbery and Jasper is there by her side. They have feelings for each other, but she does not want a man who is not into her kid and because of his past he can´t be around kids. But they grow on him. Emily’s x and the kids father comes back to get something from her and Jasper is not having it and is in protect mode.
Book Three:
Levi and Blake. They were high school sweethearts but because of a misunderstanding, Levi leaves her. Fast forward 13 years. Levi is sent on a mission to save a reporter, but it turns out to be Blake, who is a secret agent. and she is on a mission to kill her mark. Levi joins her and the fun begins. She has spent the last 13 years trying to take down his stepfather and it finally looks like she will. If Levi could just…. I loved this story.
Book four:
Nolan (Clark) and Reagan. It starts of with them agreeing to be friends with bennies. Turns into more. Reagan works for the madman in this story. Nolan gets custody of his brothers kid, Nick. Together they are parenting side by side to an 11 year old. But Reagan and Nolan parts. She discovers that her boss is a madman, but before she can do anything, she is taken. He kidnaps her to harvest her organs on the black marked. But like always…. I loved this story.
