Hunter is Birdie´s x and he never really got over her. Being in San Fransico because of work, he wants them to get together, but she is not willing. After his sister bullies him into taking her with him, she meets up with Birdie and Birdie agrees to let Hunter call her. Bu the past is still hunting her and her feelings towards Hunter. Hunter is feeling the same way about her and instead of talking about it, they fall into bed. But soon the hurt is to much and almost ruins them.

A sweet romance. I really wasn´t a fan of the series, but I got it as a present. I won´t be buy the last 2. The author just didn´t do it for me. But it was an okay read.
